hi there,
my name is Lucia Lazara
i am 22
but in the words of CA Conrad, I’ve been a bride of poetry my whole life.
you could say we have something of a codependent relationship — poetry and i.
she is all i ever talk about.
poetry is my way of embodying my life and body, loving people, being in community.
i am big about forming authentic, open communities where we can be in our bodies together and create from that safe, spontaneous, illogical place.
when i’m not with writing, reading or creating multimedia art to mingle with language, i have my small love affairs with earthly enlightenments like:
black coffee in a white teacup,
laying in the sun like a cat,
waking up in a tent by a river,
yoga flows,
half-dreaming of unintelligible things while meditating,
& dancing till i know my legs are going to hurt the next morning.
for now, i put strangers’ coffees in teacups and split pomegranates for a living.
i’m dreaming of creating more autonomous communities so i/we can keep on living.
thanks for being here.

this is my happy place
i was entirely in my body
